The Head Immobilizer is an emergency patient handling device made specifically for this purpose, used to avoid the lateral rotation of the head.

The spider harness is a 10-point, 5 strap patient restraining system primarily used to restrain patients to spine boards, scoop stretchers and other transfer devices. Colour coded Nylon straps thread through the board and secure around the patient using Velcro. This is a very rapid, effective and hassle-free way to immobilize a patient on a transfer device.
