LifeVac are the leaders in airway clearance device technology, being the only ACD with peer reviewed medical publications, independent medical testing and medical abstracts proving safety, effectiveness, usability and lives saved.
LifeVac is a self-powered, single-patient portable suction device developed for clearing the upper airway, intended to be used in an emergency when the standard current choking protocol has been followed without success.
LifeVac generates over 300 mmHg of suction. The duration of suction is minimal, so LifeVac is safe and effective.
How LifeVac Works:
Position: Place LifeVac over the victim’s mouth and nose to create a seal.
Pull: The suction device quickly generates negative pressure, dislodging the obstruction from the airway.
Clear: Remove the device to allow the obstruction to be expelled.
LifeVac has a one-way valve that does not allow any air to enter a choking victim in a downward motion. LifeVac comes fully equipped with an adult mask, a pediatric mask, and a practice mask. The duration of the suction is minimal which makes LifeVac safe and effective.
High Suction Power: LifeVac generates over 300 mmHg of suction, providing powerful and efficient airway clearance.
Safety and Effectiveness: The device ensures minimal suction duration, making it both safe and effective for use on patients of all ages.
Portable and Easy to Use: LifeVac’s compact design allows for quick and easy deployment in emergencies, offering peace of mind in critical situations.
Non-Invasive: Unlike traditional methods, LifeVac offers a non-invasive solution, reducing the risk of further injury.
Why Choose LifeVac?
Reliable in Emergencies: LifeVac is a trusted solution when standard choking procedures do not work, providing an additional layer of security.
